Solar Batteries Allow You To Hold Onto Your Power

We Trust Simpliphi Solar Batteries

Simpliphi Power is an SGIP-approved energy storage company that provides batteries so homeowners can store excess energy generation. Typically, when a home has solar panels, solar energy powers the home during the day and when it’s sunny.

But then the homeowner has two choices on how to power their home during the night or when it’s cloudy. Some people choose to use a minimal amount of power from their utility to cover the gap. At Family First Solar, we love empowering our customers to break up with their utility and become energy self-sufficient, and that’s where Simpliphi batteries come in. These safe, non-toxic lithium ion batteries store solar energy for you to use when the sun’s not shining.

We typically recommend the PHI 3.8â„¢ Battery for residential uses, which comes with a mounting bracket. Batteries are often mounted in the garage, although sometimes we put them outside the home too. When you sit down with one of our reps to discuss your reasons and goals for going solar, we can give you recommendations about whether or not a battery would be helpful for you.
